The architectural details are literally stunning! All salons and gardens are really well preserved. The palaces are both huge inside so take your time as their history goes also deep. After booking when we got in contact, the ticket staff recommended best timing options and we only saw the crowds when we were leaving. Thanks!

We are very happy with the choice. One note: inside Dolmabahce Palace photos are not allowed. But gardens along Bosphorus are perfect for photos.

If possible avoid weekend afternoons. Other than that two impressive architectural monuments are absolutely pleasant to enjoy.

both palace complexes are so large with their gardens that my family were worn out before the end of the second. unless you are olympic level athletes, use your tickets at separate days and the ticket team is arranging the check-ins easily.

both palace museums are amazing both from gardens and inside but Dolmabahce is a bit more opulent. online booking in advance works well. as we first preferred to start with Dolmabahce, QR code was sent to our phone (thanks Caner) and the next day we visited Topkapi Palace after a check in at the first gate. an official guide of the palace brought us without the ticket lines while informing. When we were inside, audio guide was good. totally we spent like 5 hours total in both palaces.

Stunning architecture and tapestries. Chrystal staircase is gorgeous especially when one considers the period that was built.

The ticket provides access to the palace buildings, the gardens, the harems at both museums. All have a lot to offer and are beautiful to see. Recommend coming when it first opens in two separate days as the narrow hallways (especially in harems) are hard to maneuver with large tour groups and crowds.

Overall, I absolutely recommend this package if you love good architecture and history! It gives you a very unique insight in to how living conditions were for the elite. I’d advise going on a day when no rain is forecast as you can spend so much time outside and inside that way. A lovely experience, well enjoyed.

2 museums took 5 hours. we preferred two different days. sometimes it felt like too much. not difficult to go from one to the other with tram but do them at different days. they told us that this is possible but we had one day for museums.

really interesting as they look like two different worlds. dolmabahce is more about indoors. definitely recommended for the value, price and usage of tickets. at topkapi Denis explained a lot in a short time.

We used tickets two days apart. You need at least 2 hours each. Quite beautiful both inside the buildings and through gardens. Do the Topkapi first that looks medieval and the Dolmabahce Palace is more western and ottoman mix.
